Korean Film Council e-books

In addition to several print titles from the Korean Film Council (KOFIC) that were recently ordered, 3 PDF titles from KOFIC were added to the catalog. These 3 books are part of the publisher's Korean Film Direcotrs series, and each covers the life and career of a prominent Korean director. They are:

Career Information Center online

Career Information Center is now available to UNCW via the Gale Virtual Reference Library. This is the 9th ed., updated for 2007, and comprises 13 volumes of valuable information on many careers and industries. Helpful features of the online version include illustrations, automated citations, PDF option, and translations available in Spanish, French, Japanese, Korean, German, Italian, Chinese (simplified), and Portuguese.

eBook from the United States-Indonesia Society

Indonesia's War on Terror by William Wise is no longer in print, but is available in PDF from the United States-Indonesia Society website. According to the preface, this book discusses "the threat from international terrorism and Jakarta’s response. The desirability of law reform and improving Indonesia’s intelligence capabilities are highlighted."

Sage eReference

Sage eReference encyclopedias and reference books are available electronically, and now are in the library catalog. There are 50 titles, mostly subject encyclopedias, with full-text availablilty.
